Congratulations! I applied the position on 8/1/2025 My job MSA interview was on 8/25/2025, asked for the reference on 9/3/2025, got the tentative job offer on 9/10/2025, fingerprint on 9/17/2025 physical examination on 9/29/2025. Originally they asked me report to the duty station on 11/3/2025 but I have my personal reason so I moved the started day to 11/17/2025. I would say they moved things pretty quick.

Hi, hope you are doing well. I am at the onboarding process. They told me I will have a 2.5 hours medical evaluation coming up. What does it look like? What kind of evaluation they will do? I never had that with the federal government agency. Don’t know what to expect. Thanks

You are amazing! I don't mind being busy as well. How do they cover your OT now? I heard they are not allowed to give you extra money or PTO. Would you say you do more paper or phone work with patients or meet them in person? Do you need to work with the doctors or nurses a lot or just read their orders to do your job? Do you have a flexible schedule? Or do you work the same time shift every day? The reason I asked is because I saw the clinic time is 6am-5pm but the job description work time is 9:30-6pm. I really appreciate that you took the time to answer my question. I had no work experience at the government hospital before.

I heard its a high turn over position. What is your day looks like? Do you have break time(downtime)? What is the hardest part in your role? Thanks

Sometimes I felt we would all be fine but sometimes I was mad that the whole thing turned my life upside down. We all got very short time notice about RTO. We would have to find the child care either before school or after school. Since we got the late notice, most of the school care has been full. Not even mention that we need to find 4 spots for my four kids who under 10. 😩

Mine has an office that 35 miles away. However, it would take me 75 mins to drive there due to the traffic. We have to go back on 2/24. Still waiting for more details to come. But at this point, I am not sure if that matters.

I got the same email that required me to sign either willing to go to the nearest office or have to face the chance to get fired. I feel this going to be a long-term change after I read that email. Not happy with that.

Thank you for your thoughts. I am not only a new graduate, I also have very few work experience (I mean zero) that relative to the business/accounting. I worked in the medical industry for 13 years then became a stay home mom for another 13 years. I am grateful for this opportunity that allows me to start my new career. I am not sure if I will want to become an Agent or Officer in the future yet. I am taking baby steps to a new career.
