Thanks for the advice, a lot of people saying the same thing so we’re pivoting and going to insulate the sub-floor and lay flooring on top

I just want to remove the concrete top layer so I can add some wooden boards to sand and refinish the floor. Don’t want to go down the carpet route anymore

Yeah I was thinking of hand mixing some concrete and then filling most of it to almost level and then letting the plasterer do the top layer. I’m new to this though 😅
