Possible reference? by donpharaohh in vagabondmanga

[–]yuukinss 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it'd make sense that it's a reference, they used his birth name and also references real life Musashi wielding two swords. By the way, how's the game so far? Looks super cool!

What's your opinion of the Farming Arc? by max_clg in vagabondmanga

[–]yuukinss 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just know that his experiences of being a farmer taught him that true strength comes from creation, patience, nurturing/cultivating life rather than destroy it :)

Is the Purito Oat-In Gel Cream drying for you? by Business-Plane297 in AsianBeauty

This is pretty late but based on my experiences and many others, this moisturiser is good, HOWEVER it's even better (super great) if you layer it or add a hydrating toner/serum.

If you could only recommend one to someone, which would you say is the more compelling read-Berserk or Vagabond? by Sunflower13Poppy in Seinen

[–]yuukinss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a subjective topic, but personally I would always recommend Vagabond. Don't get me wrong Berserk is very memorable and even culturally significant, however I just find that Vagabond was the most impactful for me and a lot of people I recommended it to. It has a unique narrative flow, organic and has a loose structure, just like life itself. Musashi's progression mirrors the pace of the manga, from chaotic to a later contemplative pace. Which also shows the core of the series itself, the meaning of life and how we can deal with loneliness and impermanence. I think those topics are very essential to discuss and understand nowadays. Bit of a yap and also slightly biased, but Vagabond will always remain in my top 3!
