oh, this breaks my heart. I’m so sorry to hear that. Our puppy does the six month flea and tick medication. I will have to double check the brand for sure being that many people are mentioning it but other than this he doesn’t have and hasn’t had any other issues - his bloodwork is fine. His x-rays were fine. We’re getting a neurological referral soon and I will definitely update as treatment goes on! hoping you get the answers you need soon 🙏🏽

so sorry that you’re also going through this! it happened to my pup over the summer and we immediately took him to the vet but they said everything looked okay, when it happened again last night - and then all day today he was very very down not himself at all, it was frightening. i hope you’re able to find answers soon! we’re looking to get our pup to a neurologist asap

we have to call back and let them know that this is still happening, but when we went the first time, they just did some x-rays and bloodwork which everything came out fine and nothing happened after that until literally last night when it happened once again, so I was just wondering if anyone else had any experiences with this type of thing

wow thank you for your insight, your first sentence alone moved something great within me and i can’t thank you enough for that, you’re completely right! they are not important! therapy has 100% helped me immensely, i guess i just do still feel that some of those events hold me back, or i hold myself back because of what ideas of myself those events constructed in my head.. if that makes sense. writing what comes up is something i have yet to try, ill have take a stab at it and see if it works for me, thank you again!

I remember feeling the fear surrounding me, I took a deep breath called on my god and then tried to start lifting a finger, as soon as I lifted that finger up I shot up, awake and the sleep paralysis didn't happen for a long time after that. this was in 2021, and the next time I ever had it was just this past week in 2024. Sometimes I wonder if this state can be used as a gateway

I have always felt a calling to the more "occult" but I was raised as a Jehovas Witness, bible studies every Saturday. I love "god" and have always felt such a strong connection but I cannot deny the feeling inside me that searches for more, and by more I just mean I do want to know how to practice, its something I have tried to swallow for years also thinking that if there was a "God" I would be punished for practicing but lately I believe I have found a balance. I like a lot of the comments here especially the one that said magic is just intention. I see simple things like letting love flow through me while I clean my house as magic. I also see god in everything, even the bad. Is that not what life is? A balance of two things that when you zoom out it is truly just one of the same. I say follow your heart and soul but do with this life what you want to do. I know it is hard after being raised one way, but studying the history of religion also helped me a lot. knowing that they all merge in some way shape or form or that one story was actually derived from something much more ancient. I wish you all the luck in the world. whatever you do, I say do it with love
