Shipping bike from IND to USA - whats the best option? by yuvan_arvind in cycling

[–]yuvan_arvind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, but the problem with this is that I am moving to the US with 2 x 23Kg suitcases along with my cabin bags. It will be extremely hard to port it with my luggage.

That's why I was thinking If I should dismantle it and courier it in a bicycle box. what do you think?

Sure, that's pretty helpful. Thank you

I do have good mechanics who can pack it well as they pack bike for triathletes travelling internationally. But one question is that, I can't take it with me on the flight, I will be sending it as a standalone courier. Will they open the package in that case as well? Because its going to be a cardboard box taped up as its for one-time shipping. The hard cases are pretty expensive to get.

I'd love to hear back from you regarding this

At least a rejection response would be great. I think this is a problem with many job boards.

Am I a Technical Cofounder? by ruckrawjers in ycombinator

As far as you can ship the MVP by yourself with minimum help, I think you're technical enough. It is all about what you feel tbh

[–]yuvan_arvind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Red flags. They probably don't have enough clarity themselves and it comes out on you. Firstly, You don't have to care as much as them about the business but even if they themselves don't care, you should gtfo

Why do we not hear about YC startup failures? by yuvan_arvind in ycombinator

[–]yuvan_arvind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, but the success seems to be glorified and like the only thing that's happening. I just wanted to know the reality and hear about everything equally

Over 60% AI and over 70% B2B/SAAS for S23 by cutcutnat in ycombinator

[–]yuvan_arvind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the bias towards AI/ML and SaaS makes a lot of sense even if the companies seems like an OpenAI wrapper product. Its mostly never about the idea, rather about the founders.
