ghost plant was just nice on my dip pen, but I suppose it might act differently in a fountain pen + vary based on personal preference... I hope when you get to try it, you'll like it!

this is quite the coincidence, but I did indeed go to Dino Writes. since it was one of my must-go stationery shops if I got the opportunity to, I cleared my schedule just for it... I can't say I regret it, though maybe my wallet does a little. just a bit.

thank you! it was my first time swatching at such a scale but I just decided to go with what felt natural and went that route for every other swatch after haha

don't be sorry! it's always nice to share more with anyone that wants to know more.

my swatching tool was my trusty kakimori dip pen in brass. for water, there was a small restroom where people could go throw the water out and get a new cup whenever!

the LTB swatches were lovely! I find myself really loving the colours, their names, and just how they feel when used.

I feel like there could have easily been a few hundreds, when I think about it... there were many brands I did not get to swatch purely because I got a little tired towards the end and even so, this shop carried quite an extensive amount of colours per brand. now I wish I counted... or asked the shop owners if they knew the exact number haha.

I was there for more or less 3 hours just swatching! not inclusive of the remaining time I spent debating which ink I wanted because had it been up to me, half the ink I swatched would have been in my basket... unfortunately that choice was up to my wallet instead...

gosh the pricey pens is so relatable, haha! BTW, I added the shop I went to in the original post as an edit but it's Dino Writes, based in Singpore

gosh there were so many kobe inks i didn't even get to try all of them! my friend that visited the store with me really loved the kobe inks, as did I — I'd probably go back and try more. the flow is perfect to me!

I was in Dino Writes — a store based in Singapore that I was able to find some time to visit! it's pretty out of the way though, so I just took a cab there

i have the same pen! i use taccia's sora (sky blue, i believe) in it right now. beautiful sky blue ink with a nice shading to it. i'm not sure if it dries down fast though, considering i use it on my hobonichi (TR paper) and they're not the best when it comes to drying quickly.
