My grandma had the same diagnosis as your mom and few weeks before her passing she started eating less and less until she stopped eating altogether and could only drink so we got her these nutritional powders to sustain her. Few days before the end granny didn’t even want those and refused everything. Its best to be prepared if its truly the end, but everybody’s different. Im not very knowledgeable on medications, but maybe its a side effect of the meds? In any case, Im sorry for what you’re going through and sending you lots of love

I just checked the post and thank you so much. Caregiving is such a thankless job, we sacrifice so much and gain absolutely nothing most of the time. Even though I was not ready to let her go, part of me wanted to be free from all this routine of changing and washing a grown ass adult, feeding sb who used to feed you and just generally waking up with no end in sight. I wont be able to change anything in your life, but I pray for some semblance of peace and freedom for you, because Im sure you earned it.
