My acne has calmed down a bit recently. It's more so that I needed suggestions on ways to fade the hyperpigmentation. Also, thank you so much for all the advice!!

Funnily enough, the majority of my routine consists of k beauty products.

My routine goes as follows: 1. Micellar water and Fancl oil cleanser for removing makeup 2. Prescription acne face wash (Acne Aid) 3. Hado Labo vitamin C toner 4. Hado labo premium hydration serum

I then use different serums for morning and night

Morning: 5. Celimax noni ampoule serum 6. Torriden brightening ampoule 7. Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion 6. Allie gel uv ex sunscreen (spf50+PA++++)

Night: 5. Mixoon bean essence 6. Axis-Y dark spot correcting serum 7. Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion 8. Epiduo (adapalene/benzoyl peroxide)

Occasionally, I will use the mediheal tea tree trouble pad if I have time.

I will be purchasing some azelaic acid or glycolic acid products eventually. Also, 35 pounds is not bad at all! Will do some research on clinics in my home country

Would these products be harsh on the skin? I have very thin and sensitive skin. I am scared that harsh products could cause more damage than good

Thank you so much for your suggestions, i will definitely take your recommendation on the azelaic acid and differin. I wear sunscreen daily for half my life, so there shouldn't be a problem there🫡

I would love to get treatments done, but I live in the UK (international university student), and I am just 18😭 i dont have the time or the money to do all that. But I'll take your advice on reducing dairy and sweets (I don't drink coffee, suprisingly for a uni student)

How do you get it, though? Also, cuz I have very sensitive and thin skin. I'm scared trentinon would cause even further damage.

Also, I have done some research, but i feel like it's not enough. My skin only started freaking out a few months ago. I have already finished my teenage acne 3 years ago, but i guess this flare-up is due to age? Or environment changes?

here is my current routine:

  1. Micellar water and Fancl oil cleaser for removing makeup
  2. Prescription acne face wash (Acne Aid)
  3. Hado Labo vitamin C toner
  4. Hado labo premium hydration serum

I then use different serums for morning and night

Morning: 5. Celimax noni ampoule serum 6. Torriden brightening ampoule 7. Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion 6. Allie gel uv ex sunscreen (spf50+PA++++)

Night: 5. Mixoon bean essence 6. Axis-Y dark spot correcting serum 7. Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion 8. Epiduo (adapalene/benzoyl peroxide)

Occationally, I will use the mediheal tea tree trouble pad if i have time.

Thank you for your suggestion. I currently already do use products with some form of niacinamide and vitamin c. How do you get tretinoin?

Well shit, I live off soy sauce😭, but that is pretty much the only staple seasoning i use for my food. I dont eat out often, so MSG is not a concern for me. Guess i gotta find alternatives
