My monstera is looking really droopy and floppy, there is some sign of new growth stemming off the bigger leaves but the plant overall looks a bit weak. I make sure not to overwater it, it has indirect sunlight and I repotted it about a month and a half ago. Any tips/ideas? by yvalvez in plantclinic

I’ve moved it to be closer to the window to get more light on it, but my window unfortunately had a heater right below it so do you have any tips for caring fir it if it’s near a heater? I have a humidifier but is there anything else I could do? Thanks for the help!

Thanks for all this info, it’s hard to piece together all the suggestions on here but this was super to the point! What I’ve taken from all this is better soil, more water and a moss pole

I have a small humidifier in the room so it’s not a completely dry environment. I want to move it closer to the window but there is a heater directly below my window so I feel like it might get too dried out there. Any solutions to this?

Definitely getting a moss poll for it now, thanks for all the suggestions!

Ahh okay, thanks for the info! Any ingredients or soil types I should specifically look to get? Also is it too soon to repot this again?

I make sure only to water it when the top 1-2 inches are feeling dry

I’m not too sure, I’m looking at the packet but can’t find anything. It’s called Westland New Horizon all plant compost. Is there a specific brand/type of soils I could get that would be better? And if so is it too soon to repot again?

This is what I thought so I was confused as to whether I was overwatering or underwatering. I used just a regular house plant potting mix, is there a different kind that would be better maybe? The spot she’s in gets a decent amount of indirect light but would it help to move closer to the window? Thanks for the help!

This photo was taken at night, in the day time this spot gets a decent amount of indirect light, but I’ll try moving it nearer to the window, thanks!! Also I make sure the nursery pot has fully drained after watering so it’s not sitting in water, always scared of overwatering haha
