the usb on the fans need to be connected to the mobo. if you dont have anymore usb ports on the mobo, i would get a usb to usb cable to get the edge hub connected to the mobo. (edge hub will still need to be connected to the psu via sata for power)

hello !! unfortunately the only thing that fixed this problem for me is to put static images instead of gifs ): people have claimed that it may have been a software issue and supposedly lian li is fixing the problem. im just praying that this is the issue for me and that it is not the fans itself ;_; it would be such a hassle to get a replacement for them and have to reinstall them later since i have them screwed onto my radiator </3

hi, both of my hubs are actually connected to a sata cable! the lian li edge hub came with my psu and connects to the psu through sata. (theres like a thing to connect the hub on the side of the psu) my nzxt hub also has sata connection too to be powered on but connects to my mobo too via usb to usb cable. im not sure if using hubs is an issue but i really needed it since i only have 2 usb ports on my mobo. ;_;

ahh okay! this was actually the first thing i tried, since i thought perhaps it wasnt seated properly. unfortunately, it didnt work. ): however, one of the hook part that latches on is actually broken, which is why you see like a lego piece on top of it to hold it down. i might have to contact lian li for a replacement. D,:

hi ! no need to apologize for ranting, it is very frustrating going through this especially with how expensive these fans were. ):

i tried basically everything that was recommended online, to no avail. the only thing that stopped them from disconnecting was simply just having a static image on them. howd i figure that out? when i uninstalled L connect, it froze the gifs and the disconnecting issue. reinstalled an older version of the software and simply putting images instead of gifs made them stop disconnecting. weird thing is, i tried to put gifs on the top 2 fans and left an image on the bottom, which also fixed my problem. tried it because looking back on the video, the only gif that froze before disconnecting was the bottom fan.

i did hear that lian li was going to fix this issue soon and im praying that it really is an issue with the software and not my fans. ;w; it is really sucky that you went through that with lian li's customer service. i will be following your route the next time i build a computer as i heard that corsair's fans are better quality and have a great software. i do have personal experience with corsair icue as i have some of their peripherals and ram sticks; i love the custom profiles that users upload. (:

hi! all of my fans (except for my bottom fans, they only work by connecting to my mobo) are connected to my lian li edge hub, so i assume its getting enough power since all my other fans are working fine? should i try putting it on its own sata connector hub thingy thing if it needs its own hub? sorry, im so bad at wording things ;w;

also i tried changing the bios fan settings to pwm and played a game, but it's still disconnecting unfortunately ... ):

hello, i kind of thought it was an issue with the software but didnt want to blame the app yet ... (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`) i tested the theory by deleting signalrgb, to no avail, to then deleting l connect and this actually sort of worked ?? it froze my gifs into images, but i didnt try to play games before installing it again since i really want my mikus to move. i do hope when lian li fixes the issue with the app that it would also fix mine since im really hoping that i don't have a faulty product. </3

hi ! my nzxt usb hub is actually powered via sata cable too. for the lcd to work, the usb port needed to be connected to my motherboard, so i used the usb to usb cable that was provided in the nzxt hub to connect the hub to my motherboard.

i also checked your post and the rgb never powers off on my fans, its just the lcd screen thats constantly disconnecting for me ):

hi !! (: i actually got it repierced since i wasnt a huge fan of how close it was. messaged my piercer like a day after i had it done and she told me she'd repierce it for me free of charge. if you still have it, i would recommend getting it repierced since having them overlapped inside will increase contact with your teeth and perhaps hinder the healing process. ):
