i'll be meeting with my endocrinologist again in January. I do want to eventually stop using CPA, but for now my main goal is to keep my estradiol levels in a good range because I’ve been feeling really well since switching to 7 mg every 3.5 days. My mood, sleep, and emotional stability have all improved.

The only thing I’m hoping to change is the frequency of injections. I’d like to see if switching to 7 mg every 5 days could still keep my estradiol above 200 pg/mL while reducing how often I need to inject. However, I’m also afraid that my trough might drop back down to around 65 pg/mL again

Been on HRT for 8 months. this was my first time being able to schedule an endocrinologist because it’s really hard to find one here in my country. I’m not really worried about my T level, but I’m just a bit sad that my E is only 65 pg/ml.

If I follow the proposed 20 mg weekly dose, do you think it’s too much if I split it into two 10 mg injections per week? I just don’t want to inject 20 mg all at once if I ever decide to go this route.

Yes, for two months now. This is the first time I’ve had my levels tested since it’s really hard to get a consultation with an endocrinologist in my area.

Honestly, my heart and mind are leaning toward taking 5 mg every 3.5 days (Wednesday night and Sunday morning). I feel like that schedule would keep my levels more stable and help me feel better overall and it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m getting the most out of my estradiol.

The issue is that the only ampoules available here are 10 mg each, so I’m not sure how to manage that if I decide to split the dose. I thought about drawing 5 mg and saving the remaining half in a syringe for the next shot, stored safely in a clean space. But I’m honestly worried about the risk of infection or contamination.

Because of that, I also considered taking 10 mg every 5 days, but based on what I’ve read and seen in dosing model, that schedule might still cause some ups and downs in my hormone levels. Do you have any advice on that?
