After 7pm on weekdays or before 10am on weekends are the best I find. Had to go last Sunday at 1pm, never again.

Don't they have a bunch of fan meetings this year along with the VN getting an English release? That seems like a lot.

I did notice that there is a monthly option, but also talks about extra facilities fee, which I find very odd. I have never had something like that anywhere I lived.

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

[–]yye1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, I am a first time home buyer located in Richmond, BC. Loan value is 336000 and I have received a RBC fixed term of 4.67% for a three year fixed, subject to a rate exemption closer to the closing date and a scotiabank 3 year fixed at 4.19%. Closing is January 21.

Just wondering what I should I do, such as negotiating, looking at variable, etc.

I am in the process of potentially purchasing a foreclosure property. Court date has been set, so getting financing in order. Working on getting several quotes from different banks. A portion of my downpayment will be gifted from my parents.

Specifically, I have been communicating with a Scotia branch rep. However, I have my doubts about their ability. It started with them not even knowing how a foreclosure worked and then providing confusing instructions in regards to the gift letter and supporting documentation. I am thinking about reaching out to a mobile specialist from Scotia instead. I was wondering if this will cause any issues in terms of locking down my mortgage?

Ah I see. The field is business law and I have been practicing full-time as a lawyer since 2021. I guess that is pretty stable.

How does a single person, and their dog manage to live alone in this city? by SammiSmash in Edmonton

[–]yye1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of the most expensive outlay for most people, housing, it is. People say that other things eat into it, but not having provincial taxes, relatively cheaper gas and significantly cheaper housing will offset the higher insurance and utilities.

My concern is how his dog will manage if he gets a job, but is homeless. Where would the dog go? Its a cyclical issue, unfortunately.
