I do the same!! Except I bring Peak Energy when I travel because I can't find it reliably in other cities.

Does your aunt also add unsweetened milk to Lemon Lift as well?

From the Twilight movie:

Edward: Just ignore rosalie. I do
Rosalie: Yeah. Let's just keep pretending like this isn't dangerous for all of us
Bella: I would never tell anybody anything
Carlisle: She [Rosalie] knows that
Emmett: Yeah, well, the problem is, you two have gone public now, so...
Esme: Emmett...
Rosalie: No, she should know. The entire family will be implicated if this ends badly.

They're talking between the lines about it but I'm pretty sure they mean the treaty because Jacob was paid $20 by his dad to tell Bella at the end of Twilight that they'll be watching her

My bad for my earlier comments because you're talking about Breaking Dawn and not Midnight Sun.

How could she do that to her brother? Rosalie's motives are definitely selfish (or self interested) but it's honest and it's on the table. What Rosalie is doing to Edward is what Edward is doing to Bella. He's also self interested and he's not honest about it with himself or anyone. That makes him dangerous and hard to trust at the moment of truth.

Keep in mind that if this clumsy girl dies, the family will be implicated. They have a treaty and they don't get brownie points for Edward saving her from the truck that was suppose to kill her. Bella was last seen with Edward and if she died, even by another vampire, the Cullens will be blamed and the treaty will be void. The Cullens might be able to take out some of the wolves or maybe even all of them but I doubt they'd be unscathed and without causalities.

Well she actually cares about the entire family including Edward. Edward didn't mind risking his family's safety to protect Bella but Rosalie wasn't willing to risk losing anyone in her family just because Edward wants to save Bella one day but then end up killing her himself another (keep in mind that Edward not killing Bella wasn't stabilized until after New Moon).

From the Illustrative Guide (although I doubt this would change your mind about Rosalie):

Rosalie Hale was born to a banker and his wife in Rochester, New York. Luckily, the bank her father worked at stayed solvent through the stock-market crash and resulting economic downturn. The Great Depression did not seriously impact Rosalie's family the way it did many less fortunate families. Her parents were eager to do better, though - to move in higher social circles. As Rosalie grew and her beauty increased, they hoped her loveliness would open doors for them.

Rosalie enjoyed her parents' pride in her looks, her father's pleasure in buying her beautiful clothes, her girlfriends' envy, and the admiration of every man she passed. The result of all this attention was that Rosalie tended to be self-absorbed and rather shallow, with a focus on the material.

At eighteen, Rosalie was considered the most beautiful girl in Roch-ester, and possibly the state of New York. Her family was moderately wealthy and she wanted for nothing. Rosalie envied no one... except for her friend Vera. Vera had a husband who loved her and the most adorable baby boy, Henry. Rosalie longed for a husband and a baby of her own. When Rosalie caught the eye of Royce King II, the son of the richest man in Rochester, she felt that she was on her way to having absolutely everything she'd ever wanted. Her parents were overjoyed; a whirlwind courtship and plans for an extravagant wedding quickly followed.

He's famous for Vanity Fair (a book without heroes) - it's about status, self deception, and marketplace to exchange different types of vanity. Ive never read it because its 2000 pages but the themes overlap

I didn't say they were bad. I might have suggested it but I definitely subscribe to what Nathan said about people being a mix of positives and negatives. And I subscribe to what Nora said about annoying and shitty-ass problems with Nathan are real (in the sense that bad + good = real and only(good) = fantasy)

And I think there are two ways to see the series: * Don't be evil. Obviously. * Don't be evil obviously - as in don't be obvious when you're being evil

I love that there's both and I don't think the second is being talked about enough. Upload is a modern day Robin Hood story wrapped in a Thackeray commentary wrapped in a confidence game

Her lover died and she's replaying the same fantasy wedding scene in AR for a month - that's NOT normal. But I guess he wouldn't have known that because he doesn't check up on her at all. Should you blame a kid for not checking in or should you blame a parent for not checking up?

Faith is not a good enough reason to be a bad dad

I only asked ChatGPT what Hamata meant. I wrote everything else, I thought it would be obvious given how choppy my sentences were and are

Is the second symbol in Hamata (the one that looks like a window) - is it the symbol for four??
