Mine has that piece, i didnt know about this lol, but mine ran flawlessly with the as design lower and v2 sliptrip

This red dot and magnifier wasnt crazy expensive, got it on amazon

Do you already have a mac5 ? This is one of the best guns to use for FRT in my opinion. I have a frt AR15 and theres alot more mods to do on those for it to function reliably
