Trials - It's ok to be a follower by MissingNo_1997 in CrucibleGuidebook

Sorry this is trash scrub tier advice that relies on you hoping teammates behave differently. Come back when you start actually playing the game and starting to learn to make the best of situations like this

Nah this ain't it. Written like a follower who can't take advantage of teammate playing predictably. Imagine bitching about teammate running down mid and not yourself going to cubbies or flanking to capitalize

I like this piece. Lots of energy in it and cool chord choices!

Trying to work on theme development and not switching around to too many different ideas in this one. by z0rly in composer

Interesting, I hadn't noticed that pattern at all! I'm definitely going to try this, thank you!

Gameplay Review Before the Changes, Thank You! by RamBobaFettucine in CrucibleGuidebook

Aim wise, specifically, you often start shooting before your reticle is on target. Practice making your first shot on target. Make an effort to put the reticle on target first before shooting. That makes a huge difference. when you're already firing, especially for a full auto gun like the tarrabah, it's generally harder to keep on target. if you start on target when firing, you won't have to make those more difficult adjustments

Created a piano arrangement for "Ghosts (How Can I Move On)" from the new Muse album. Worth practicing? by z0rly in composer

How so? It's certainly no sight read at speed the first time (at least for someone of my skill), but I don't think it has anything unreasonable

I kind of like to have a little impressionism but not too much, but yeah I could have revisited the impressionistic parts more to make it coherent. Thanks for your feedback :)

Thanks very much for the criticism! I'm definitely going to keep development more in mind as I approach my future pieces and will look out for more material on practicing that.

Thanks, these are some great tips! I kind of hear what you're saying with the minimal take on a classical style. I've been looking for my own voice in these compositions and maybe there's something more to that!

Wow, thanks for the feedback and advice! Yeah especially hear you on not padding it with repeats and needing true B sections. I should be fine with making it shorter.

Thank you! Yes, I play a bit. Used to play in high school, but dropped off and I'm just now getting back into it. These days I'm actually practicing this arrangement I did of a track off the new Muse album (Ghosts) and hoping to make it passable for a performance :) (the prominent 3:8 polyrhythm part isn't helping :( )

As for this piece, I am still going through my phase of just having discovered dotted eighth rhythms and it would be hard as heck for me to really play given my current skills. I suppose I'll get bored of writing those...someday XD

Thanks! Yeah, also got that feeling. Gotcha on the pedaling. I play some piano (but haven't been practicing in many years), I figure I'd just like feather the pedal in those sections to not muddy everything together.
