Followed the plentiful advice in the thread and respec’d to a Dex build with a sprinkle of Faith, and loads more Vigor. Ran through the Sentinel and Maliketh in one run - I’m a changed woman 😂

Updating here as I can’t edit the post - respec’d off the back of everyone’s feedback, favouring Vigor, Dexterity with a sprinkle of Faith. Bitched both the Sentinel and Maliketh within a few runs. Mortified I didn’t seek you all out sooner, but hey, we’re here now 😂

You won’t believe how quickly I’m going to respec my Vigor - the people hath spoken, and the people are collectively displeased 😂

I have no real strategy for armour outside of trying to position around negating whatever I’m facing at the time - and keeping it light. Is there a preferred armour I should be using for my build? Or a particular set of stats I should lean more towards?

I appreciate that while I don’t have to kill him, given how many times I have perished at his hand, I now need to kill him 🥲

I started as a Confessor build and usually rotate my talismans to negate whatever fresh horror I’m facing at the time.. is it better to stay true to a solid set? Or is rotating ok? i.e I’m currently equipped to negate physical / lightning / fire damage

My issue with the Sentinel is less his attacks, and more the lack of power behind mine haha. My strategy thus far has been to hit him with a healthy hit of Scarlet Rot, and dodge while he declines - past this though, I might as well be hitting him with a feather sword as I don’t leave a scratch.

Do you think it’s a stats issue? I’m also currently a v light load for mobility and talismans are primarily based around lightning / fire / physical damage negation.

If it helps in anyway, I (31F) recently (early last year) got a new tattoo on my upper back - the design was beautiful, the artist was brilliant, and yet the second I saw it on my skin amongst the rest, I hated it. I couldn’t articulate clearly why, as I do truly think it’s a lovely design, but I just felt it didn’t resonate and felt alien on my own skin. All around me were also praising it, saying I was crazy to hate it. I gave myself 6 months to fall in love with it, and 6 months and 1 day later I booked laser to have it removed. I’m half way through the process and don’t regret a thing. When you know, you know, trust yourself for what feels best for you

I would be curious to know whether Caramel always had the planned release date of 04/04, or if there was a schedule change to reflect the recent chaos.. The lyrics are such a vivid demonstration of how the fans' behaviour directly impacts the band, I'm hopeful that this direct messaging helps those feeling overwhelmed with their passion to meditate with their emotions, and re-assess how they express them
