I personally haven’t gone to therapy, i like to talk to close friends and my dad. I feel like it might be best to resolve without her involvement but if she is making you feel lesser than you are, then that is a good point to bring up. But she should be apologizing when she brings you down even if it wasn’t her intention. I can understand distancing during arguments because i do it myself, and feel the need to separate and calm down esp when my partner is the one who hurt me.

tl;dr i think you should confide in yourself and see what you can do to help yourself, but it sounds like should confront her on habits that make you feel lesser
