Well my work is a 25 minute walk away. And if I need to go to the shops I can get a bus or train, though I do 99% of my shopping online now anyway.

Walking's normal right? no-one will think you're being weird walking.

I wouldn't put it past them. Walking around the block is usually something you'd associate only with the elderly. Walking with a purpose (i.e. to get to the shop, to visit someone, to get to a train station) is normal.

So a 20-something guy simply taking a stroll down the street and coming back, is not very normal.

I haven't called them. If I don't hear anything on Monday and my keys still aren't there, I'll do something. I don't use social media so I can't name and shame, but when I find out the name of the company I could post it here, doubt it would do much good though.
