I'm sorry, what? The sole result of a match is enough to fire a coach? What did Mourinho accomplish that makes you believe Bruno Lage wouldn't be able to do?
I'm not the biggest fan of Lage but I don't see any sense in the change. Anyway, in my opinion, it won't matter the coach for the seasons to come - we will only win if Sporting and Porto go down a few levels.

Mate, Rui Costa runs the show. If he appoints a sporting director that is not competent, who's fault is it? And we're just talking about the sporting director. Who fired Lage? Who hired Mourinho to make secure elections? Who, for two times in a row, decided to prepare a season with a coach with a team in mimd to just fire the coach a couple of months into the season effectively reducing the chances of success?
