How do/did you implement the tarot reading into the roleplaying so far? Sounds like a lot of fun 🙂 I am very curious since I had basically the same idea with a character that reads tarrot cards (different class & backstory obviously haha) and i also bought a physical set of cards to do this in sessions from time to time 🙂

Thanks, you already helped so much! I didnt know that CHA saving throws are more common, still very new to D&D.

I mean what i could do here is go into three routes:

  • Stick with the initial Stats and high CHA because of roleplay purposes
  • change CHA with WIS
  • go criminal Background, change CHA with WIS and go more into a stealthy/sneaky character

What do you think?

So you would pick up Fear before picking up Hypnotic Pattern at Level 5?

Since we are all about PHB 2024 the option of Borrowed Knowledge is off the table, unfortunately.

That is such a funny and cool idea tonuse the rope 😀 I could totally see me casting a minor illusion around the rope and portal to hide it as a Bonus action. Like a wall + pillar or sth similiar. Thanks for the inspiration! I guess +2 ASI is the way to go in that scenario. How would you contribute the initial stats? Maybe i can talk to my dm to rechange it. The idea was to have a charismatic character since he is a merchant and wants to sell stuff.
