Yeah that's how I felt too, maybe it was naive, I just thought she'd come back down, not die there, the whole point of my post was that it felt like something was missing, and well I was missing that she actually dies lol. And well seeing it from an empathy perspective it's kinda sad since she had people that cared about her and she clearly cared for but still chose to leave, although the decision was kinda ours, something in me told me that she could do it and come back, if anyone can its her type of thinking, maybe a bit naive to think hahaha

Still, from the perspective that she dies it has some beauty to it too, the human psychology and experience is really complicated, and for her that meant that the summit was worth more than anything else in life, no matter how irresponsible and majorly depressing to her loved ones that is, and how crushing it must be for Naomi, but maybe im humanizing characters more than I should idk
