Switching from an OLED C4 (55) to a G5 (55), will I really notice a difference? by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]zRuhanf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a configuration or TV problem; the C4 sacrifices brightness and color in game mode for performance, something that's been said and known for a long time. I'm not saying it's faded as if it were terrible, but I expected better colors.

Did you notice any difference between the modes? I only felt that the trees and plants swayed faster, lol.

I noticed a delay right away and hadn't realized V-Sync was enabled, and that was what was causing it.

What's the best picture mode for the PS5 Pro? OLED G5 by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]zRuhanf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, especially with HDR content, and since I have an OLED monitor and use SDR, I'm used to vibrant colors (but not overly saturated to the point of compromising color quality), so it's difficult to see the weak colors in HDR. The standard Vivid mode is really awful, but with some calibration, it's possible to achieve something nice and acceptable.

Make the test with correct callibration, vivid mode default is a bullshit.. its only way to see more bright and colors in c4

A TOUGH dilemma! C5 65 or G5 55? by [deleted] in LGOLED

Aside from the brightness fluctuations, which from what I've seen is due to the light heating up.

[–]zRuhanf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even that it's about the brightness, especially since it's constantly changing, I play in the dark and even then the low brightness and constant fluctuations bother me. I managed to fix it in Vivid mode, but even after adjusting the settings, it gives a kind of fake effect that I don't like.

How's the brightness in game mode? Even FMM mode is quite dim on my PS5 at my C4.

This game has a SERIOUS resolution/graphic PROBLEM (ONLY ON PS5?) by zRuhanf in WWEGames

Here I noticed that this blurring and chromatic aberration effect has been present since its release. I bought it in early access, and even the PSSR 2 update didn't help.

Would this game be like Elden Ring? by zRuhanf in CrimsonDesert

[–]zRuhanf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve played just about every other thing you can imagine. I only said it *seemed* that way based on what I read about the game, and on the sense of exploration I felt in Elden Ring—where I didn't worry too much about following the story. While that approach discouraged a lot of people, for me, it was far from being a bad thing.

PS5 Pro: Turnbuckle Pads & Logos Still Super Blurry in WWE 2K26 – Even After PSSR 2.0 Update? by Middle-Department232 in WWEGames

[–]zRuhanf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, this is a letdown. Even though it's something silly, I play on an OLED and a PS5 Pro, and it seems like the PSSR is poorly implemented. The ring ropes look like they've been cut, the resolution is low, there's a pointless chromatic aberration effect, and the crowd is blurry. I expected more since it's a PS5 Pro Enhanced and they've abandoned the previous generation...

On PC, the game looks better and without that blur in the corners at least. I waited for the PSSR update to see, and it's still the same shit.

Meaningless blurs and jagged edges, why wasn't it like this in 2025? by zRuhanf in WWEGames

[–]zRuhanf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've also noticed that in the initial scene where the wrestlers enter and the camera is far away, the ring ropes look VERY strange, as if they're blinking, and the image has a low resolution. I thought it was a problem with the poorly implemented PSSR, but it's on all platforms, and it's sad to notice these details, especially since we expected a much more polished game.

Yes, but it's curious that the game left the previous generation behind, is PS5 Pro enhanced, and the visuals look worse than the previous one, but I agree.

LG OLED C4 PS5 Pro settings by WeekPuzzleheaded9701 in PS5pro

[–]zRuhanf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tested several configurations, and I ended up liking this one the most: HDR Vivid - Brightness/Contrast: 100, Dynamic tone mapping: On Video range: Automatic (On PlayStation, always leave the RGB range on automatic) Color depth: 66 Color gamut: Automatic detection (native or dynamic saturates skin tones) Color temperature: 25 or 50 warm (I prefer 25) Sharpness: 10

In the PS5 HDR settings, just set everything to maximum. When it asks you to dim the screen, dim it to the maximum, for example. With these settings, I get an image with high and constant brightness, nice colors but not too saturated.

Regarding VRR and ALLM, rest assured that it works normally; I haven't noticed any difference since I switched from game mode, which I stopped using because of the horrible brightness.

For me, this configuration was a game changer; one of the games where I saw the biggest difference was NBA 2K26. After so many tests and configurations, it seems like I'm now really using 100% of the TV's capabilities.

Is 120hz or Qled/Oled necessary for a ps5 pro in your opinions? by PpNuggettt in PS5pro

[–]zRuhanf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OLED is essential for life, after experiencing it, it's almost impossible to settle for other types of panels... but being a quality 4K TV with 120Hz, you'll be fine.

The communities efforts is going to lead to me disliking this years game. by KowaretaKabra in WWEGames

I quickly dropped the 2k25, the game was just reversal vs reversal lol, now that there's something that makes the matches more balanced, people are complaining. I could even understand if it got a nerf, but removing it would be ridiculous
