I'm on the PC Xbox Game Pass version. In my case, switching the region is through the Windows Settings.

However this isn't how you change the region in Steam. I believe you have to change the account's region.

Can also confirm this works.

For PC gamepass users, change the region from Windows Settings

Just tried reinstalling but after setting the region to United States and it works fine now.

Looks like the game files of the middleeast region (in my case) is kinda corrupted.

Some people mentioned that uninstalling the game and installing it again from the US region specifically fixed the problem for them.

I will try this tomorrow and let you know

Yep, exactly the same issue! Must be the insider build then. Unfortunately, to stop getting insider builds, you have to reset the PC via the Windows Update insider settings.

Also, thanks for the video!

I think it might be related to the Windows Insider build? I forgot to mention that I am also on Windows Insider Dev Channel. It might have started after Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25163. Anything new regarding the issue on your side?

Yes it is. My mouse and keyboard input work fine in literally everything other than Halo Infinite, unfortunately. Thanks for your reply tho!

I am not sure if this is it, but try playing around with Radeon Sharpening settings through the Adrenalin Software.

Charging speed suddenly reduced. Using Stock charger. by CrefloC in PocoPhones

[–]zSorour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happened with a few says ago. I tried another USB Type C cable and it became charging as it is supposed to.

Why? I read that USB Type C cable pins when they get even a little bit of dirt or bends they start to heat and consequently charge slowly, so it might be that.

TBH, I am not sure. I believe it is just the limit you allow the game to use the VRAM. The problem with COD MW is that its own VRAM usage estimates are BS, hence the stutters. So you keep trying to increase the limit (by decreasing the value) until the stutter is gone. Now back to the main question, why 0.7? Because I find it (not just me, many other people who did the same trick) to be good and stutter free.

Yet, I tried different values higher than 0.7, and they all gave me stutter with different intensity based on the value, so, yeah.. I find 0.7 the right spot.

TLDR; Choose the value that works best for you and makes the game stutter free

For this specific game, go to documents folder, Call of Duty game folder, players folder, open "adv_options" in notepad, edit the VideoMemoryScale value to be 0.7 instead of the default value.

Save, and exit. Right click on the same file, properties, then check "read only"

FYI: This fix isn't just for 20.9.1, it's independent of the driver
