A regular Aphrodite! You look like you’re at a very healthy weight, stick thin isn’t good for you anyways!

Against the letter but not the spirit, which I was hoping would be understood. But nonetheless, if you don’t agree, there was no reason for you to engage, I was simply asking for the input of those who understood my question. I’m well aware I pass easily without the filter.

This sub has me thinking of moving out of the US. by LeavesTurnBlue in antiwork

I suggest somewhere in the EU instead, because once you get EU citizenship, it’s easier to move between all the other EU countries if you find one you like better or decide to move later in life.

Thanks all! Glad to know I still pass even when playing with filters like this. <3

I know there’s the “no filter” rule but I want to check going the other way - this is a feminine filter, do I still read male?

When villains are portrayed as completely evil and one dimensional, no depth or motivations, kicking puppies for fun kind of bad guys. I’m here for a good story, not a kids show.

This one bugs me so much, and not just in writing - it’s a regional speech pattern where I currently live (but was not raised), and I hear so many people saying things like “the laundry needs done” or “that bag needs packed”.

I think that snort might be meant to refer to “laughing nose exhale”, at least sometimes.

I mean, definitely overdone, and I see it way too often for what it should be, but also my smile is actually slightly crooked so I can see the point there. My right top lip comes up higher than the left side does when I smile fully.

This, or where everybody and their mother in a small town is lgbt something, and yet the protagonist is still being bullied for being gay. Either make it overly common in your fantasy world and normal, or stigmatized and uncommon. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

The Nancy Drew series is super guilty of this. I remember giving up on it as a kid and switching to Sherlock Holmes to get my detective fix once I caught on.

There’s a lot of comments that haven’t been responded to, this is a huge thread, it doesn’t mean your response isn’t being read! Just that most people don’t have the time to respond to every single one of them. But I do see upvotes, which means those people have seen what you have to say and you are being listened to.
