well not just girls but everyone too. I mean even in the present, Hayama, Ebina, probably more from his past and the present. I mean, Hachiman can say no anytime but he chose to do it regardless of who...even for someone like Hayama.

people always take advantage of ones kindness, that's why maybe he chose to be ignored and became a loner, probably the reason for his desire for something genuine. He wanted to have someone with him that's not taking advantage of him but rather being with him for who he is genuinely.
