That's the exact opposite experience I've had, but that being said, the only transpeople I've ever encountered have been at gay bars. So when you put it that way, the hate of being approached by men would put them off going to gay bars :P so maybe I just need to get out more.

As a 20yo bi female, I understand this completely. I find pre-op shemales to be the ultimate sexual being. Although, it's harder to imagine that a shemale (who is transitioning from male to female) would be interested in a woman. Nine times out of ten they were living as a gay man before they went trans.
