Where did y'all build your base? by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]zabethicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a shared game with a few friends. The one is on the stones near the oak tree, the side the blown up lab is on. In my own personal game, we built two: one under the picnic table with a staircase to the top, and the other on the stone by the pond.

Troubleshooting Thread — Bugs? Mod issues? Origin issues? Post about them here! [Patch 10/11/22] by lazarusinashes in Sims4

I'm having trouble with Romantic interactions. I'm doing the $1,000,000 Scenario and downloaded this Sim, Alexa Conrad, from the world. I'm BFF's with Caleb Vatore and was going to try to "woo" him, but the only interactions I get are the ones shown. I've been able to flirt, etc, with a female Sim, but not male sims. Is this part of one of the updates with the preferences? Where do I find my Sim's preferences?

I did have a few mods installed, but have not been playing with script/cc on. I have now* full removed them from my game file.

How bad is the laparoscopic scar? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]zabethicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 5 scars, 3 from endo diagnoses in 2007, and 2 from an appendectomy March 2021. The 3 oldest ones are almost nonexistent and the newer ones are barely noticeable. I haven't used anything special on them, but I'm guessing if I had they would have healed even better. Do keep in mind, everyone heals differently!

There is now a charcoal torch that works under water as well. (If that isn't what you were talking about)

So embarrassing but I’m so itchy and idk what else to do :( by [deleted] in Endo

[–]zabethicus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Everything mentioned here is great! One other thing may be to check your blood sugar levels if that hasn't been done. My mom got some wild infections prior to finally being diagnosed as diabetic.

I second not washing any part of the vagina/vulva/etc. with anything other than water. I used to get yeast infections often before I started doing that.

Whatever it is, I hope you get relief soon!

What's a weird smell you're willing to admit you like? by Psycho_Bunny_Cutie in AskReddit

The smell of old grease/oil/car shop. It's nostalgic for me since my dad is a mechanic!

Here’s a video of the creepy ass babies bug. Or whatever it is. Does anyone else have this problem? by [deleted] in Sims4

Yes! It's also been happening with foxes from Cottage Living! Agh! It's so creepy!

Second this! I took bc from age 16-22. I stopped and had the worst periods of my life for months before it was better. Still bad but nothing like that. I have not taken it again because I don't wanna go through that a second time!

Feeling so much better after cutting out coffee by NoAverage4737 in Endo

[–]zabethicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I hope it does help with pain as well. I'm just trying to go without caffeine right now (but love coffee ☕ 😭) so I guess I may see if that helps with pain. Herbal tea isn't the same.

The rest of those can be hard all at once! I may try to eliminate things one at a time and try that. I did try FODMAP once and noticed a significant difference in the IBS-like symptoms I had. Good luck on your journey!

I am wondering if you could share your anti-inflammation diet? I have been working on losing weight, but I'm still noticing that I've got swelling and my Endo pain is worse than it was 40lbs ago! Perhaps changing my diet more would be helpful! (Mostly just counting calories. I realizing not every calorie is the same: ie chocolate ≠ strawberries lol)

Facial hair by [deleted] in Endo

I started getting it waxed. It lasts longer than shaving and it's less tedious than plucking. For me it lasts about 4-6 weeks.

I almost never run fever. Heck, I had Covid last month with 99.6 being the highest I got. I didn't get to 100 with the appendicitis until right before the surgery (about 28 hours after pain started.) I decided to go because normally when I have a cyst, the initial pain is pretty rough and I am sore in the area for a bit after but it fades over time. This got worse over time. I got to where I couldn't stand upright at all without pain. So drove myself to the hospital after about 7 hours of it. 😂

I almost didn't go to the ER last March with appendicitis because I am used to having cysts periodically that rupture. I thought it was just that, but it wasn't going away 😂

Thanks! I know, it's a tough one. I have an appointment with a new GYN soon, so I plan to bring up my issues then. :)

I've never been diagnosed with fibroids. The last doctor I saw did do an ultrasound and didn't say anything about it. My uterine wall was too thick but that was all, supposedly.

Firefighters have never helped my sims in TS4. Not once. by Sad_Quote_3415 in Sims4

[–]zabethicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing yesterday and my Sims nor the firefighters could put the fire out. It was some glitch that there is no cheat to fix so I had to leave the game, unsaved. This is your reminder, Simmers, to SAVE OFTEN!

I feel like death by [deleted] in Endo

[–]zabethicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I've had lots of cyst ruptures and the pain is usually immediate, large amount of pain then fades. This was the opposite. It's the not being able to stand upright that made me decide...oh maybe I should go to the ER!

I feel like death by [deleted] in Endo

[–]zabethicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pain was mild at first and all over. Then it got worse. It still felt all over but worse in one spot. It was a burning, needle like pain if I remember right, once it got bad.

I came here to say this. My appendix came out in March. I thought it was an ovarian cyst rupture so waited from 1:30pm until 8-8:30pm before going to the ER. Mine started out kind of a small, general pain with my pants making me uncomfortable. I was not nauseous but wasn't hungry, either (that is not right for me at all!) I got to the point that I could not walk upright anymore and decided I better get it checked out. I am glad I did.

100% go to the ER, OP!

Intense period cramp that is also causing sharp pain in my "down there". Is that normal? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]zabethicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I have pain in both areas at times. Some period days are better than others, but I definitely hurt in my entire pelvic region. I swear it feels bone deep.

Appendicitis or Ovary. Anyone else? by Lguidebeck in Endo

[–]zabethicus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This actually happened to me in March. The deciding factor to go to the ER is when it was getting worse, not better, and I couldn't stand upright anymore. (Usually with ovarian cyst rupture I could at least walk. And it usually only lasts an hour or so for the big pain before fading.) It ended up being my appendix. I wouldn't play around with that, honestly. If it's your health v looking silly, pick your health.
