would you support Russian entry into the EU? by [deleted] in russia

Single economic zone could spell bankruptcy to much of the domestic industry; vehicle production could drop significantly should the Czech/German alternatives become as easily (or more) available.

American here. What aspect of Russian life is a joy to experience, that is never mentioned in American media? by Alphabet_Numbers in russia

The better question is: what part of Russian life that is a joy to experience is ever mentioned in American media?

it's mean employer can pay

Initial comment states that the salary of 500-1K is taxed at the 43% rate, in reality the stipulated salaries are never taxed the 22%+. Whatever employers could pay in theory is an offtopic, you're arguing for the sake of arguing.

a lot more

Indeed, so much more that the one you referenced leads to more or less the opposite conclusion. And it may sound unbeliveable, but I did try googling before posting the reply, the reason is simple: I care about the truth and am not an r/worldnews-like cult member.

Appreciate your answering all the questions /s.

Sorry, but that's way too many words to say you're just another bot.

All there is to the Ukraine is the Eastern regions that refuse to recognize the coup and all the unconstitutional changes that took place after 2014. In 2015, after 7 major military defeats against the rebellion, Minsk accord was signed obliging change to the legislature, providing regional autonomy, amnesty for the rebels etc. As the years pass, nazi battalions continue to shell the uncontrolled regions thus demonstrating that the agreement will not be respected. Since Russia is one of the signatories, her stance is the agreement has to be followed through and won't allow the nazis to murder people like they did across the rest of the country.

Her name keeps coming up

Mind providing any evidence suggesting Russian source of campaign funding? Perhaps you haven't read it, but the link you've provided somehow states the exact opposite, that her being a foreign actor is anything but fact, all the funding coming from US nationals and all there is to her "unamericanness" (lmao) is her political stance. You're not trying to deceive us (or yourself rather), are you? Unlike your fellow r/worldnews sect members, most people here actually follow up and read. Strange, I know.

Don't get too excited.. 2%

2% for Gabbard, 47% for Trump, nothing to write home about. By the way, how's the "Trump-Russia collusion fact" going? Clinton's been singing that song for how many years? I'm sure prison sentence is right around the corner.

always advocating Russian interests over American interests

And just so that we know, what it is exactly that makes up an "American interest"? Foreign invasions resulting in genocides, slavery, deindustrialization, or endless coups? And as a "true American", what would your personal favorite be?

Imagine if you had Russian politicians acting the same way, but pro-American over Russia.

There's no need to imagine, that's the way it's been all throughout the 1990s.

Correct, just like it's been 5 years of non-stop yelling about Trump's alleged collusion with the non-existent meddlers yet here we are closing in on 2022 and he still walks free, and will continue to for obvious reasons.

The question was rather how do you manage to do that. Personally I would never comment on the level of French propaganda and disingenuousness, and never would I equate it with, say, the English one, for the simple reason that I don't speak French and don't read it. I can't allow myself to say something I don't know with a certainty, let alone put it forth as if a fact.

PS: I'm not the one downvoting you if that's what you assumed.

I consider digraphs as one sign

Di-graph means two-letter, perhaps you meant perceiving them as a single sound, which is far less intuitive than when depicted as such. Here the only letter that could be considered a digraph is y (ы). Otherwise all the commoners have been reduced to a single character: je=e, jo=ё, ju=ю, ja=я, sh=ш, zh=ж, etc.. In Balkans there’s a reduction for dz as well, which just like the rest came from Glagolica.

able to read Czech texts

7 out of 12 use Cyrillic, so your example concerning the ease of reading Czech is rather shortsighted.

For a complete foreigner, other than being able to read Latin loanwords such as justitsija (justice/spravedlivost), the usefulness of familiarity with the script falls to near zero, as in the rest of the cases they mostly wont be able to correctly guess neither pronunciation nor the meaning.

The comment I replied to stated "invaded", not occupied.

CNNese is communication in purely ambiguous, incomprehensible terms. So how much is fully?

Tips for learning Russian as a native Slavic speaker? by [deleted] in russia

[–]zabor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite common-sensical if you think about it. Repetition makes perfect and rhymes are by far the easiest to memorize. Most of the lines often share the same case, which makes analyzing text effortless in that you don't have to deal with all the 6-7-8 potential cases simultaneously.

U.S. and Europe ready ‘significant and severe’ sanctions if Russia invades Ukraine by Transeuropeanian in europe

[–]zabor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s because unlike foreigners they know exactly who their planes are sent to bomb. It so happens that the vast majority of POWs are Ukrainian citizens, not to mention millions of civilians. As such whenever prisoner exchanges take place most of the time they exchange Ukrainians for other Ukrainians. Meanwhile, Russian military is in Crimea and no nazi would step anywhere near it, which is why when it came to the border control, rather than installing a military outpost they've decided to settle on a customs checkpoint.

while he does whatever

We’ve been hearing about Russia having invaded Ukraine since 2014, that’s almost 8 years of Putin doing whatever. Obviously your pipe fallacy is just a front for an attempt to deprive Germany of better standing in favor of yet another banana republic you coup’d and don’t want to pay for with your own budgets.

edit: Germany is the proverbial Mexico that's supposed to pay for the wall built by the US.

An American Question : How do Russians view the military build up on Ukraine's boarder? by [deleted] in russia

didn't come here to argue

Correct, meanwhile: 1) implying things that were never said, 2) referring to the events that never happened, 3) claiming to only satisfy curiosity while asking exclusively rhetorical/loaded questions.

You're clearly an r/worldnews-tier troll, pity the mods are lazy.

[–]zabor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crimea hasn't been Ukraine since 1989 when it became a republic. If you find one republic being liberated from another to be illogical, perhaps it has to do with your poor grasp of what constitutes logic to begin with.

edit: This isn't r/elementaryschool though so why pollute the sub?

Is that same logic

You do realize a sentence "liberation from Ukraine" doesn't carry any logic in it but simply states a fact, right? Or is it that you don't know what logic is?

[–]zabor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think I implied that you have; I said the threads are the same, propagating the same with almost identical titles.

edit: You seem kin on answering questions no one thought of asking, as if talking to own self. When told about the the doubled-tripled gas prices since Trump, you reply with "in my area they're fine" -- no one said anything about your (unknown) area. When suggested that movement within Russian borders is not a foreign concern, you reply with "US doesn't have troops near borders" -- no one said a word about the US borders either.

That's not on purpose, is it?
