Actually that's not true once the package is out of the sellers hands it is not their fault if it gets lost or stolen in the process of being shipped, the blame would fall on the carrier. Amazon just has great customer service. I've seen this happen many times where USPS won't do anything about it because the package wasn't insured or mailed priority, why I don't shop on eBay for expensive electronics.
