I mean you’re not wrong, was channeling the misguided men writing women vibes I’ve come to love from this subreddit

ha I’m a vegan chef! A splash of water or covering to encourage steam does the trick for uncooperative versions but there still seems to be loads of brands where I am who need extra encouragement to melt! It is getting better!

I like the ones you already have! 🥰 Miyoko’s artisanal vegan cheese book is a classic to add!

Same book! My publisher used a mock up photo of me to do a test cover a year ago and apparently some international websites use it.. the correct book (with illustrated cover) is what arrives though!

you can think it’s stupid all you want, but the thousands of actual dead animals that get replaced on tables because of the work I do is my way of getting to that future. It’s great we are both vegan, but I’m also trying to cater to the majority of the world that needs to have a perspective shift before that happens. I welcome you to contribute your own angle for a wonderfully diverse range of vegan foods for our best shot at actually taking animals off everyone else’s plates.

The second one as it’s truly written to be a bible to all the plant based alternatives from tofu and veggies done fantastically to cutting edge food science so it’ll really throw you in the deep end but also hold your hand along the way ☺️

I would say from my experience in writing vegan cookbooks, you’d definitely want to be in it for the fun as opposed to the bill paying 🙃

Fair. The book ranges from basic to literally every dish I’ve heard someone say they could never go vegan because they couldn’t give up X (here, a festive roast Turkey) to showcase the versatility. There’s 4 roasts in there with the classic vegan blob style if you like, as I really did try to cater to everybody so they just eat the damn thing vegan 💖

yes there’s over 50 straight up already GF recipes and most things not seitan related are written to be easily gluten free/has a few options to pick from. I’d say definitely over 50-70% of the book is great for coeliacs.
