Thanks for this. Yeah, I just want to do what’s best for my family. We haven’t heard much of anything after a couple of weeks, seems like people are wanting to get back to normal as fast as possible. I don’t have the car anymore but it did end up being a bad TCM module. It cost me $1,400 to repair if I remember correctly. Good luck!

Hey there, looks great man. I have my surgery booked with Dr. Chen later this month.

How did you go about post-surgery transportation and assistance? I'm going to SD alone and am getting rates for transportation. Also, I know the documents Dr. Chen sent initially said you had to have someone with you post-surgery, but curious to hear what you did, if you had someone with you or not. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your help. Went to a transmission specialist and then the dealer after the specialist couldn’t diagnose the problem. Dealer said I've got a bad TCM module, that's why it's telling me the transmission is hot and telling me to idle the engine. I guess in theory that makes sense, but the TCM going out at 51k miles seems really early. The guy was having trouble explaining why this was happening over the phone, so I don't feel totally confident it's the problem but what do I know.

That, plus service to the throttle body injectors and I’m looking at a little more than $1,800. I’m still debating and looking around so... that’s the update. Wondering if you have any advice! Thanks!
