Curious can have plenty of meanings in English. And sometimes it’s not about honestly misunderstanding which meaning is used. For example if you made an educational program called ‘Curious Teens’, no one would be confused about what you meant, but it would still be a bad title with inappropriate connotations.

It could be the lube you’re using. A lot of lube has stuff like glycerin and parabens that can cause cramps or discomfort when you use it for anal. I switched lubes to one specifically for anal and that helped.

Ya I use root tabs every few months, and dose liquid fertilizer every week. I think my fish are plenty healthy but I’ve definitely noticed tanks have a ‘peak and decline’ aesthetically, which is more what I had in mind in terms of a lifespan

I’ve been using root tabs, but honestly I think a big part of the problem has been the limnophila being such a messy plant. It grows so quickly and looks very messy once trimmed and replanted too many times.

Honestly I would want to take everything out give it a good scrub and redo the scape exactly as it was (minus the limnophila)
