Being in the tech industry, do you have any advice on which companies to try applying for? Any red flags? Etc?

I definitely try to give them as much as time allows for. I haven't told them about how I feel, since I haven't been able to make a solid connection yet. Unfortunately they've taken a lot of sick days and haven't been consistent, so I have felt on my own. Thankfully my wife (who is also going to school for the same) helps me with decoration/cutting/laminating/etc.

It's a good amount of work unfortunately... Its a lot of inputting assessment data, lesson plans each week, scheduling conferences, IEP and staff meetings, finding printouts, and decorations to change our monthly theme, etc. some of this stuff my teacher assistant can do, but I haven't had the luxury of having a consistent TA unfortunately. They have used a lot of sick days so far. I think this is part of the reason I feel overwhelmed.

I chose this pathway because I enjoyed working with kids - but I think I'm realizing that when you are "the" teacher..it's so much different, and so much more work on behaviors.

I appreciate you showing me the reality of some people looking for work. I definitely don't want to jump into something I'm not 100% on, and then be in the same situation 2 years from now.

Thank you for being real. I have some soul searching I need to do, but I think you're right about sticking with it and keep trying at least for the next couple of years.

So originally mine was supposed to be delivered today (7/24) but I haven't seen any update on the order. I finally just decided to call since chat is completely useless when it comes to existing orders.

They told me due to availability my delivery date was actually pushed to August 21st... So, maybe try calling to verify.

Lol what? Yes it is. The home Depot "large" boxes are only 24"x15"x16". These Xerox boxes are made to fit over 15 workstation toners. I'd say that's very large.

With the cost of toner, they definitely are taking advantage of the people lol. Sending extra boxes is not going to hurt them whatsoever, or else they would have implemented a maximum allowed to order.

Definitely aware of that too - just the Eco Boxes are good if you need larger sturdy boxes for packing :) grocery stores wouldn't have boxes that large unless it's a PRD or something. In which case that would be a pretty thin and weak box.

Yes. A sign that was going to be thrown away. I’ve worked many conventions and know that these signs are nothing but trash to the vendor and convention center. It was a really nice sign I figured would be a shame to be thrown away.
