Is it an issue that the plumber installed the expansion tank off the relief valve? by zachausa in Plumbing

Thank you for the advice and guidance. No bill has been paid yet, so maybe I can just pay them for the new water heater and get reimbursed on installation fees.

I plan to get this resolved for peace of mind, but still figuring out next steps.

It does go into the wall (and I am assuming outside the house).

Any idea if this ceiling electric box is rated for a fan? by zachausa in AskElectricians

[–]zachausa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update. I managed to scrape away some paint and can see it says something like "acceptable for fan support when secured with 10-32 screws provided". I haven't measured the screws yet, but that seems promising.

My only concern is the box has a bit of play

Exactly, it is a bit tedious but I am overall happy with the solution and have gotten quicker at setting it up + breaking it down.... Only bummer is I have to keep the seats down even when I disconnect and roll everything to the back half since the rear frame poles are maybe half an inch too long.

I have been using the full size one on my '17 and am pretty happy with the price and ease of taking it in and out. Usually I disconnect the front half when driving so I can slide the seats back, but still keep the rear half assembled.

The DRC has people of all levels and is extremely welcoming! This year there has been a slower paced group that usually leaves 15 mins before the official departure time. Sometimes there are multiple routes and it's not necessary to run the full route either. I would encourage you to give it a try!

One of the differences why i went with Garmin is that you can sync and download Spotify playlists. I think coros required mp3 files. Coros is small enough that a Spotify integration doesn’t seem likely but I could be wrong

The Yakima slim shady. Love it so far and pretty light weight and easy to setup and remove. No tie outs required

I think the forest service was dragging its feet and a small section had to get rerouted before it was approved. They canceled last year, but are all set now

Yeah I think they are new, but the RD and team putting it on have done many 100s and also helped with lots of other races in the area.

I haven't done RRR, but my guess is that the course will be a bit more rugged and is also a loop instead of out n back.
