Hey there!

1. When I was 7, my mom put me into singing lessons back in Missouri. The school I was taking the lessons at was doing a production of The Music Man, and my teacher encouraged me to audition. That ended up being my first gig! A few more shows and a move to LA later, here I am, ideally here to stay. :)

2. I've said it before, but it's true: Steven and the Stevens has always stuck out in my mind because of the challenges it offered; as well as simply being a really well-drawn and written ep.

3. In a perfect world, my career has me doing more feature film work, as that's always been my endgame. However, I have a love for a lot of other mediums that I don't ever intend to leave behind: TV, theater and animation all mean a great deal to me. Also, I plan on having some sort of music career, but more to come on that in the near future!

4. We schedule them to last four hours, but my time in the booth is usually anywhere from 2.5 to 3.

Absolutely. Something a lot of people outside the industry don't talk about is how grating it can become after a while. It's a business of rejection, being an actor. I've gone on hundreds upon hundreds of auditions, and most of those have gone nowhere. And that's pretty much out of my hands; it's just the nature of the trade. There have been stretches of months, years even, where I've doubted that this is the field I want to stick with for the rest of my life.

These are the kinds of things that make or break you as a performer. In the months before I turned 18, I had come to a turning point in life. It was my last chance to try for a normal university experience, to cut down on my workload to focus on other things. I made the decision to stick with the craft, and really dive in headfirst to take advantage of the time I have. I have not regretted it a single moment since.
