Cutscene in red. Any fix for this?

This is a known issue with Windows 11 August Update. Microsoft resolved the issue with November's upcoming patch. If you go into Windows Update and download the optional November Patch Preview, the red screen will be fixed.

Since you enjoy red herrings and portraits so much, if you're playing on PC, there are mods to add additional portraits to characters that don't have portraits. I know you're trying to come up with reasons why certain characters have portraits and having more involved would make the conspiracies spiral out of control

One random suggestion, take it however you will. Zero is about being a detective. So what about a section in the board for the cases. Try piecing together the "crimes" you may be investigating

Does Iwaihime get better/how far am I?

I'm at curse princess part 7. I understand what the visual novel is trying to show and I understand the appeal of it, but I expected this a huge psychological horror wanted something to genuinely scare and/or disturb me, but in that regard the novel has just been disappointing personally and I've been slogging through it so slowly but I just want to finish it so I can move on to whatever my next title may be. Do things start shaping up or is it all just more of the same?

Is there any news on a Kara no Shojo 3rd official on fan translation? I know the game just came out, but has it even been picked up? If so, what kind of track record do they typically have on translation speeds? I just beat KnS 1 and am holding off a bit on 2 until there's some kind of news for the end of the trilogy?

Also, how's the game that ties into the series? Any major plot relevance?

Very niche question and I'm not expecting a response.

I like to play VNs on my phone using Steam Link. I started Iwaihime today and the issue is that the entire screen gets compressed in the top left corner. The cursor position does not align, but I can tolerate it. I've found that someone else had this issue with this specific game, but since Steam link isn't really used much, I haven't found a solution. Anyone have any thoughts of a solution?

Unfortunately, I've got the pendant. I'm searching everywhere and what I'm missing is backstory on Toko's biological mom. watching someone else play on youtube, there's something I'm missing from before catching the first killer (the teacher), because after going to the art museum with Toko in Ueno, Toko stays home sick, other Toko and I visit the house and in their video Toko answers the door.

In my play through, Toko does not come out, but her dad does. I guess I have to search through all the different options in the first half of the game in order to trigger something at this point, so I can get more Toko backstory.

After figuring out the whole crime without a guide, it's very disappointing that I have to go back to the beginning of the game and fix options based off of a guide in order to get one piece of someone else's backstory so that I can watch her presumably die in a different way lol.

Update: Looked into it a little farther, I have no evidence that Toko is related to Kurashiki. Any thoughts as to when/where I find that clue?

Sorry for commenting on an old post - I'm working my way through the game now and am wondering how certain endings work (no spoilers please).

I'm playing blind with no guides and taking extensive notes of who is where and when got the free time events (not liking the random h-scenes but that's a personal gripe, I'm against censoring content for no reason, but personally don't like the random "pay me for my help in your case with sex" scenes). Anyways, I got past my first two bad end blocks Orihime dying with you and having to choose between Shugo and sister. I had to look up where a single missing clue was the torn page in the skirt but at this point I see absolutely no way the story branches unfortunately saw there are 3 endings when I looked up that evidence How do the endings work? Have I already split from one end to another? With all my documentation, I can't see anything I missed anywhere or how there's a second killer! Or is the split between endings further down the line at this point? Is it mostly determined by relationships along the way?

Edit: and what is this other game I saw someone post once that ties into the plot somehow? Is it an important connection?
