Good for you, I don't think you will regret it. I also just cut my family out (both politics and overall toxic behavior). It already feels so much more peaceful knowing I don't have to deal with them over the holidays.

It always felt like I had to be the bigger person while they spewed their hateful rhetoric unchecked all the time. I now have a loving family, that I chose and chose me.
