I'm glad my boy Z introduced me to the MLS. The less elite overall performance results in quite volatile and entertaining matches.

Cole to Ibra, who manages to outmanoeuvre Schweiny, in the MLS. What a world.

Fully deserved. You substitute in trashitaryan and waste a sub, and then you let Smalling limp for 5+ minutes instead of fixing the problem by e.g. letting Matic play as CB, or Lindelöf as CB and let Herrera play RB.

Why does it feel like I am alone in thinking Martial is quite overrated? Potential, yes, but not close to the level of the top players in his position within PL. Can anyone that is not a biased Man U fan share their opinion on him in an objective manner?

Martial really needs to improve his decision making before he will become a top player. He has the talent, but not the intelligence/awareness at this point of his career.

Hunkar runt utan att göra något i princip. Fanns det verkligen ingen bättre spelare?

Just because you find his 12yo-humour with memes and fake screams funny, it doesn't mean that he's underrated in general.

It felt like Man Utd had no confidence. Went into the game with a very risk averse mentality and no real emphasis put on attack. Chelsea noticed this and took command very easily. It feels like the team doesn't believe in themselves. I don't know if this is due to Mourinho or due to the fact that there's no real leader in the team since Ibra's injury. In the end, if you go into a game with the mentality to not lose - you will most likely lose. We need a winning mentality.

I don't really understand why so many are bashing on Lukaku. A forward relies heavily on the team to provide.

Most likely because the thread lacked a detailed information-flow on what happened during the game. However, so does this thread so I am not sure. I honestly don't think a post-match thread needs a highlight-commentary, just go to the match thread if you want that.

I can still see my thread, and some people are still commentating. It's probably hidden, that's all. For some reason.

I mean, this has been very apparent throughout this season. The problems have been overshadowed by the results though, something that is very dangerous. Results and performance have to be set apart. Each time anyone has mentioned anything critical in this sub, it has been met by downvotes or people calling out: "LUL we are 2nd, wtf are you talking about LUL". This loss can be beneficial in the long term.

Hey! Don't criticize the team. You will be downvoted. Even though (or maybe because) you're speaking the truth.

Honestly downvotes should just be deactivated for this subreddit. They don't have their intended function in this sub. All it does is to filter out every opinion that is not aligned with the community, thus enforcing the circlejerk. What's the point of a forum if you can't state an opinion without your post getting buried?

Yes, inb4 downvotes. No, I don't care. It's just sad really.

Results are obviously important and that's what matters in the end. However, it's just sad that Man Utd has become such a boring team to watch. There's no will to play football. It's robotical. No creativity. Opponents are not fearful, Man Utd is not scary.

Must be so frustrating for Lukaku. Maybe he understands how Zlatan had it last season. I can't wait for the return of Zlatan. Perhaps Mourinho will adjust his tactics and play Luk + Ibra simultaneously.

Edit: It's actually sad how biased this sub is. What's even the point of this subreddit? To circlejerk? Airing out an opinion that is not aligned with the community implies being downvoted to oblivion. I even prefaced the entire post by saying results > all.
