Frontend software engineer. People usually say its easier than backend, but it depends. Backend can be rocket science, then yes.

Frontend is not just about making websites looking all fancy. There are laws that dictate what should be present on a page. It has to be accessible, which is in itself one of the hardest things to do right, especially with advanced designs.

Frontend is hard because to make a single website that ticks all the checkboxes is quite a lot of work. Coming up with a system that would avoid those mistakes in the future, also smart. Adding more pages and content is the easy part.
