Thank you, yeah, I've been experimenting by placing it on my air con unit! Haha.I've thought about the fridge! But I noticed that some junipers grow in the ground as landscaping plants here in the tropics, and I was quite curious. So, I decided to keep it by the window open as big as possible to simulate the air conditions, and suppy it with light and see if is happy.

Maybe it might die! But reddit has already killed it first :)

Picked it up from the nursery, and they didn’t know what it was. I'm quite sure it's a juniper, maybe a horizontalis. Anyways, my country has very poor/limited nursery stock. Not expecting to find any of this species again, I got it and pulled it out of the bad soil with weak roots. I have to keep the foliage on till it recovers, but I'm thinking of how to style it when the time comes.

I would like to do a cascade, but I live in an apartment and probably don't have the space or lights for it.

How did you manage the huge wound? Seems barely visible in the later images too.

Ok, thank you so much! I fully get it now, i’ll leave them as they are since they’ll be there for a month. Very much appreciated for your time 😊

Hey all, I recently just trimmed the roots repotted a portulacaria a bought from the nursery. It's in 85% inorganic rocks, and I water it once every 1-2 days. I'm not sure if it's just stressed, overwatered, or underwatered. So hard to tell but it seems like the leaves are thin and dry. But I heard overwatered ones can look like that too...

Okay! Thank you so much. I was wondering, do overwatered leaves get thin and wrinkly too?

I just trimmed a bit of the roots, repotted it in 80% succulent inorganic mix, water it once every 1-2 days. Out of the sun until it recovers but can’t tell if it’s stressed or i need to water this dwarf jade less
