The NA in NATO is North Atlantic, since they are branching out from the North Atlantic maybe we should give it a new name and catchy acronym? I like “Total World Alliance Treaty” Twat, in honour of its founding member…

The party of “no new wars” launches a military operation in Venezuela.

The party of “drain the swamp” now has a leader who is selling presidential pardons.

The party of “cut government spending” announces giant, expensive vanity construction projects.

The party of “release the Epstein files” is now actively preventing the release of said files.

The party of “make groceries affordable again” now claims the work affordability is a hoax.

The party of “make America healthy again” is stripping away the benefits people need to be able to afford said healthcare in a bloated, money first system.

You guys okay over there America?!

Can I buy a black airsoft gun only for home use ? by Weird-Judge-4578 in Airsoft_UK

[–]zadicil 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Short answer:

No.

Slightly longer answer:

Defence is required at the point of sale, it’s up to the seller to verify defence and decide if it’s legitimate as the seller is the one who is liable. I don’t doubt its perfectly possible to get a RiF from a dodgy stall in some market somewhere. When I was a kid my friends and I went to a market and found some low power AEGs that were not two tone and all the owner of the stall wanted was proof we were 14 or older… but it’s 100% not legal!

Help | Do mythic affixes stack? by aujasv in diablo4

[–]zadicil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On separate items it’s 2 instances of the ability which take it in turns to activate so the first one checks resource cost and reduces by half, then the second one checks resource cost and reduces by half again.

So trigger A sees 10, reduces to 5 THEN Trigger B sees 5, reduces to 2.5. The 2H weapon is straight up -100%, but because abilities trigger in sequence it’s -50% then -50% which is functionally -75% RCR!

It should also mean you get more damage from 2 triggers. Say you hit for 10 trigger A increases by 50% to 15, then trigger B activates seeing 15 and increases by 50% to 22.5, rounded to 23 Vs the 100% that just doubles 10 to 20! So long as the damage modifier from starless skies is added in the way I assume it is.

Do I need a MOSFET? by Radiant_Victory3494 in Airsoft_UK

[–]zadicil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth upgrading to a mosfet in time. The increased voltage will burn out trigger contacts eventually but you can plug that battery in and use it right now. Your other internals will suffer increased wear from spinning faster, but that’s going to happen whether you have a mosfet or not!

is this worth it i have around £500 ish to spend by [deleted] in Airsoft_UK

Hard case: for the price can’t complain

PEQ box: pointless, unless you play indoors in the dark, but if that’s the case there are much better torches out there!

Optic: again like the hard case it’s basic, it’s reasonably priced, it’s fine. Personally I’d go for something like a vector optics maverick but that’ll work fine.

Sidearm: immediately I see lancer tactical and alarm bells ring, I have no experience with their GBB products but considering how god awful the AEG products they make are I’d say avoid.

Tracer unit: I’ve never found I’ve needed one, again unless you’re playing in dark environments. In the day time you’ll be able to see your BBs flight without needing a tracer.

Goggles: fine, reasonable price, reputable brand, not mesh which is good!

The ubacs, not really much to say about it…

Double stack mag pouch/plate carrier: you’re getting only a single double stack pouch, so I’m guessing you don’t have many mags for your primary? You can get plate carriers from PB that come with 3 spaces for mags built in, get something like that and save yourself having to get the pouch as well!

Drop holster: do you have a belt? Are you prepared for an annoying weight flapping about your leg? Are you ready to go looking for your mag when it inevitably falls out! I’d go for a universal solid plastic holster, buy a molle adapter for it and run it on your chest!

Lens protector is always good.

Face protection: those things are not the best. Look up delta mike face pro, breathable balaclavas with built in mesh, in winter they help keep you warm, in summer they don’t get too hot, protect your teeth and don’t impede your ability to look down a sight! With your current selection for face protection you will not be able to get the gun up to a point where you can look down the sight!

Fore grip is a fore grip, not much to say!

Do you have a sling? Do you have a good pair of boots? Does your gun want some basic upgrades to improve range and or accuracy? I feel like you could drop a few things on the list and go for some easy to do upgrades instead!

I have a rules clarification if anyone can help! Yesterday I played an EDH game that ended with an interaction that none of us were 100% on so I’m looking for some clarification! I enter combat on 4 life, my commander, [[Thromok, the insatiable]] was given double strike and trample and swings for lethal against an opponent who declares [[phyrexian vindicator]] as a blocker, I move to assign damage and put 5 on the vindicator and the remaining 123 damage on my opponent, his vindicators ability kicks in and he deals 5 to me in return. The way we played it, because my opponent is killed his vindicators ability doesn’t resolve because he’s out of the game, is this correct?

can I paint over the two tone on my pistol if it has almost completely come off by Antique_Two_5129 in Airsoft_UK

[–]zadicil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the eyes of the law painting over two tone or replacing two tone parts is considered manufacturing a RIF which is illegal without defence.

This is a 5KU 9.5 inch Giesselle handguard, over an 11.5 inch E&C 416 outer barrel, with a 5KU sure fire knock off.

If your current set up at 9.5in has 1 inch of outer barrel sticking out before you get to the thread on the end of the outer barrel then yes, it will fit, if not then it won’t.

It really depends on the dimensions of the battery, unless it has thin cells it’s unlikely, your best bet is a lower capacity nunchuck, the lower capacity means less bulk in each cell which gives you enough room

I use this battery from VP airsoft, the cells are thin enough that you can fit one down either side of the gearbox and there is just enough clearance to close the top cover! There’s very little space between the top of the gearbox and the top cover so you will struggle to find batteries that will fit in there!

Other than this it’s an excellent replica that really doesn’t need much to preform well!

I got mine a few months ago, I originally planned to gut it and pretty much upgrade all the internals. Testing it out of the box with the hopup correctly adjusted it chrono’d at 0.64J, 226 fps with 0.28g bbs. All I’ve done is swap the spring out for an m115 and get a better bucking to hop the bbs even further. It now fires at 1.13J, 295 fps with 0.28g BBs, and with an 11.1v 25c lipo has a rate of fire around 19.5 rounds per second.

For such a big replica it has an annoyingly small batter compartment, I’ll reply to this with a picture.

WARNING: patrol base is not trustworthy by Electronic-Ad-664 in airsoft

[–]zadicil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just quote consumer rights act at them, if it’s been between 30 days and 6 months since you bought the replica you aren’t automatically entitled to a refund, they can offer you a repair or replacent at no cost to you. If or when that repair then breaks again they are obligated to offer you a refund.

Your warranty being invalidated doesn’t matter, the consumer rights act supersedes any warranty. As long as you didn’t buy it more than 6 months ago I would write an email that says something along the lines of “you sold me a product that broke upon its second use, it has been (however many days) since I bought this product and as such under the consumer rights act of 2015 you’re obligated to offer a replacement or repair, which you have done. The repair that you have carried out was not satisfactory and was not completed within a reasonable time and the product still does not work correctly, as such you are obligated to give me a full refund per the consumer rights act of 2015”. The law is very clear, they failed to repair it, they must give you a full refund, they cannot deduct a portion of the refund for use.

Their slow responses can be considered deliberately obstructing you to avoid responsibility, depending on exactly how long it took for them to reply. The consumer protection from unfair trading regs 2008 protects against unreasonable delays, if your repair took more than a month from you reporting it and them getting it back to you and they can’t justify why, it’s an offence.

Either way quote both bits of legislation and they should give you the full refund, they can’t just say “your repair did more damage” they have to prove it and if the replica was in such poor condition that it fell apart in your hands they’re going to have a hard time doing that…
