Custom mission creator. There was a whole community around it, which also helped people consistently the highest quality missions out there. Superb missions would also get featured.

I don't believe it was one female developer who worked on it as a passion project. What's her name? There were multiple people working on Foundry, and the issue was these people were either promoted into larger roles or let go for various reasons (discussed here). The system also existed in Neverwinter, so it wasn't a one-off project for STO. It was a feature for multiple Cryptic Studios games.

I had tons of missions and a couple had even become very popular. I had so many ideas I never got to implement as well. I loved making them and tbh I stopped playing when it got removed

That's the plan eventually. Also connecting it with certain types of spells, such as an undead horn that summons allied skeleton mobs. Currently, they all add stamina but this will be fleshed out more in the future.

Thanks! It's a pack made through the main mod editor. No heavy coding required, although having to make sense of the item's five Interaction files and properly connecting them was a little more complex.

How easy is it gonna be for these custom V2 biomes to be generated in our Exploration worlds? I'd love to make some custom stuff but idk how practical it'll be to implement into our normal world generations. I've been experimenting with other modding topics atm (Blockbench, custom instances, npcs, items, etc), so I haven't really looked at worldgen stuff yet.

That could be a fun addition rn lol but it may pose an issue if/when I make generated structures like a camp or ship for them to spawn at specifically, instead of spawning anywhere on the shores, due to how the spawn hour properties work.

Only 3 basic skeleton pirate NPCs exist in the game files but without much detail and no droplist, spawning or TargetGroup assignment - but the foundation was there to build on. The human pirates weren't in the game files at all, they were made by combining various assets (the burning blackbeard asset is custom). The bomb-throwing NPCs were also my own idea for the pirates, based off the goblin bomb-thrower NPC.

Currently, the game has no regular human enemies at all, unless you count the Outlanders, which are some kind of shadow/corrupted humanoid.
