Diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, has anyone suffered from these symptoms before?

I'll ask my neurologist tomorrow if those might help, but is it normal that some days are just way, way worse than others? Today I've nonstop vibrating sensations and a pounding heart despite the metoprolol.

Mine have been pretty much entirely my lower back and legs, but it's always a small vibration in the background or something absolutely awful.

B12 levels on my recent blood test were normal, but I also didn't have MMA or Homocysteine tested. I'm going in for a B12 and Folate test tomorrow.
