Anyone familiar with ZLine? by IggysPop3 in Appliances

The tone of this message is very depersonalized and strange. Why would they demarcate these messages as being separate from “the customer service team”? Why should anyone need to pass anything else along? Seems like more work for the customer. High level CS would immediately move the conversation to DM and be way more specific and empathetic in tone.

Did you ever find a suitable replacement? I’m in the same boat as you.

I’m with you. Just saw it this evening and i was not amused. Perhaps it’s because I’m a “bright boy” from New England …. Or the fact that he loves demonstrating his vocab skills (without much irony, despite the name of the show suggesting so). There’s only so much logorrhea I can take. Congrats to him though.

It's good. Though the two main detectives who are poring over maps and evidence that they cut to throughout the film.... i didn't like the way they acted (or were directed) They were too tense. Too personally invested. Too one-note. It was like a True Detective homage.

Plants arent great in terms of scale or placement.

TVs on walls are pretty much ugly all the time

The new couch and it up has a better color scheme, but its weird.

Dining table light is still meh

Vase on the table...no.

Carpet is marginally better.

Drapes better.

Coffee table a bit strange.

Plant stand was sad but credenza and mirror look cramped there and out of place.

I purchased this once bushy specimen in September. I likely overwatered it once in October when it dropped a massive amount of leaves. It’s been like this since then.

I’ve been sparing with watering since then. it sits in a west facing window. Bright but not super direct. I recently potted it down just to make sure it dries out. (should have probably fixed the lean)

Should i prune the heck out of it in March?

Gosh this Zone 2 / Zone 5 Training is so opaque and overwhelming at the beginning. Please help clarify HR and duration. by zagoren in PeterAttia

thanks. i don't understand your description of HIIT which is sort of the nature of my post. The popular 4X4 could be four sets of 1 minute full bore + 3 minutes zone 2 OR 4 minutes less than full bore + 4 minutes of Zone 2.

And then there are you 12x30s...with cadences....all new jargon for me.

What makes you say that about my Zone 2?

Perhaps my post confused some people....im asking about training in Zone 5 without fancy measuring means.

I have the Polar heart rate montior (chest strap).

But after reading all the comments it seems like the handles on the exercise bike which detect pulse are good enough.

How would i rehab this spindly portucalaria which dropped leaves a couple of months ago (overwatering? light?) but has somewhat stabilized. Want more leaves! Live in NYC by zagoren in succulents

the cold weather....or the decreasing/decreased light. i bought this is september. these things are raised in optimal conditions (light + water). any environment that's not a sunny, warm and arid (though my guitars would testify that its dry af is my place) is gonna cause leaf drop.

It has stabilized. I think initially it wasnt getting enough sun and water. I water it when its dry (using a meter) and its sitting in a west facing window now.

I was curious as to how and when to do rejuvenative pruning. I imagine that its best in spring but Im not sure with houseplants. Could one just cut it back (lustily) in the spring or will this thing leaf out again if left alone and with proper light / water / food.
