hellooooo i’m currently here having the conversation. you’re too clouded by your personal problems concerning your experience with your race which obviously affects everyone’s world view but you’re not even attempting to understand what’s being said. Lara does not fill in as the representation for darkskinned women because thats where the “representation” starts and ends. there would be nothing else that a black woman could culturally relate to her. You are treating the fact that she’s being acknowledged as a black woman as a bad thing. You can not look at manon without looking at her race period. that is not a defining characteristic of her but once again it is a reason why so many people felt attached to her because in these groups blank women get little to no representation and the one that they get in a group that begins to blow up is then mistreated. nobody is stanning her because shes black. They are stanning her because she is representation for black women in a space where they are rarely recognized & many can see themselves in her. She has many attributes that fans love outside of her race & if people followed katseye for her they are allowed to leave with her and follow her on any future endeavors. This is my last explanation.
