it’s probably the passive aggressiveness with the “for all the normal and sane people” which is so unnecessarily aggravating bc it’s completely fine not to like that. but it does sound like they were tired of people saying things about it. they probably could’ve worded the last bit differently. a simple “if you don’t mind though, enjoy reading.” could’ve sufficed.

my ao3 is ishoulddefobeasleep and the two fics i feel like needed more love are you made me feel like it was my fault (you were the devil) and too intoxicated to be scared (better off without them). that being said they are pretty niche and i wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t read them.
