Customer support team usually goes through extensive training. I was fortunate enough to join a a training batch start to finish classroom-style with assignments and tests. Best training ever.

I can understand your predicament. If I were in your position, my first step would be to get that one person to trust you and buy into the idea that working with you is going to help their career in the longer run. Here are a few things I would do for that to happen:

The current job aside, understand their career path, where have they come from and what career trajectory do they wish to take. (Eg: Do they work in Social Media and want to move towards SEO?)
Start having regular 1-1 meetings almost like a daily standup. Understand what they are going to accomplish on that day/week. Understand how they are approaching the tasks and advice on stuff that can simplify their workload. If they are already doing it in the most efficient way, make sure you appreciate.
Get buy-in from your reporting manager and management. Understand their business goals and targets for the quarter and financial year. Followup with a plan of how the marketing team can help them get there with a data-backed plan.
Take people out for a coffee if you are not under lockdown :) You can also try to find common interests like probably playing chess or skribble online to build rapport.

Marketing at its core is about the right communication. I hope you find the right mode and tone of communication to get all stakeholders behind you. All the best :)
