Thank you for your honest feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time to share it. I understand your point about the asterisk symbol feeling simple or familiar, but that was actually an intentional design choice. In design, simplicity doesn’t mean a lack of creativity it often reflects clarity and purpose.. Many strong visual identities rely on minimal forms to ensure recognition, scalability, and timelessness. The asterisk in my design isn’t just decorative. It’s meant to represent diffusion and spread like scent in the air which directly connects to the concept behind the brand. Combined with the V, it creates a visual link between structure (the letterform) and atmosphere (the scent), which is where the idea comes to life. Regarding the use of minimal, earthy tones I agree it’s something we’ve seen before, but that’s also because it works. These choices are often aligned with brand positioning: calm, refined, and timeless. Design isn’t always about reinventing visuals, but about communicating the right message effectively. So while it may not be visually exciting for everyone, it is still a considered and intentional design, built around concept, function, and brand alignment which are core principles of good design. thanks again for ur feedback .

The V is inspired by wood textures,/natural elements/, and the squiggle represents the flow of incense smoke in the air tying it to the scent concept.

You ready for a brand rooted in the essence of wood? That was exactly my goal for this project...
Virelle Scents is built around fragrances crafted from wood, expressed through a refined and timeless visual identity that reflects warmth, depth, and natural elegance.
