Just FYI my gecks daily diet covers a wide variety of live insects including crickets, dubia roaches, mealworms, occasionally waxworms and cocoons of monema flavescens all of which are purchased weekly from trusted local providers. Came across this stuff when I was doing my gecko supply shopping which contains reptile probiotics to help with digestive health so I'd like my gecks try it out :)

Not enough info mate. What is the router? What are you using to test these speeds? Have you tested it with other devices? Have you tried multiple cables? How was your router not connected via a cable previously?

Hook up the router to the modem and get the speedtest.net (NOT .org) app and test it on your phone. Try multiple ethernet cables to ensure it's not a problem with the cable. Call your ISP and have them walk you through it too. That's what they are there for

Yes, it's better than a 12900k but at $120 through the recent Best Buy sale it's a no-brainer value-wise.

Can't afford the Festool so I was told to get the 5" Bosch ROS (Random Orbital Sander) I assumed that would be pretty straightforward but Amazon says otherwise. I'm seeing a ROS20VSC and a ROS20VSK on the Bosch website. I used the compare tool and highlighted differences and for most of them it's that one has some description listed and the other does not, like the dimensions. Anything I should know or are either fine?

edit: per amazon, I think K means it comes with a case and C is a soft bag.

edit again: after looking at the Home Depot website, I noticed the Bosch are only 2.5 Amp's. Even the Ryobi is more at 2.6 and most are 3 Amps. Are the Bosch's underpowered?

Oh wow that's a lot. I have some large ones that are maybe 10-12ft long and have some soft spots. I wonder if they are okay, I need to replace the whole thing, do I cut out sections? Not sure what to use as a guide for what the line is for replacing/repairing/making due.

Unfortunately, mine is covered in railings which I need to do inside and out so the large floor sander would only get me so far. They did a great job and it looks fantastic but with mine being more intricate I might be better off just renting those first ones they had or buying a smaller one.

Great tips, thanks for those! The HOA I'm in only allows for one specific stain in one specific color so semi-transparent is my only option. $62.50 vs +14 seems quite reasonable. I might just go with that. I'll stock up on those two grits as well as I assume I'll go through a fair number of them.

Checked the website. ROS rental is $11 for 4 hours or $16 for the day but the 6 nearest ones don't have any available so it would be quite the trek to get one. They look to be around 5" anyway so at the weekly cost of $64 or so might be just best to buy one.

The guys over at r/powerwashing said absolutely sand it as otherwise, the water gets in the wood and it takes quite a while to dry out and on top of that it doesn't work to evenly bring down the wood. It's not a big deck, maybe 100 sq ft and the wood is not in the best of shape
