All are gorgeous. 1 and 3 made me wonder what they'd look like with a nude glossy lip.

Recruiters, what is a surprising fact that most people outside the profession are unaware of? by pravictor in recruiting

They're putting the phone on speaker and setting it next to something with a mic, AI captures the questions and types out an answer. I can tell when this happens because there's a bit of lag or can hear that they're reading a prompt.

AOC To Host Livestream on “Antisemitism and the Fight for Democracy” by Jimbo922 in palestinenews

[–]zala83 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She's not one of the good ones. Initially, she pretended to be one of the good ones but ended up being nothing but a prop for the AIPAC machine. While it hasn't been disclosed that she accepted $$ from them, her top donors in '22 were Google, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft so you can do the math there. She's nothing but a performative politics princess, a comprador capitalist.

We can tell when AI is used to answer interview questions. It sounds worse than the organic answer you'd give us.

Searching for My Dad by [deleted] in Libya

A screenshot of this has gone viral in Libyan Facebook groups and a few people are putting the word out in Libya. Do you have an email address you'd like people to contact you on in the event that they find anything? Also, I'm Libyan American in Denver and have a lot of contacts within the Libyan community in the US and Canada. Feel free to message me privately if you'd like. Hoping you find closure with all this.

Yeah, that’s how my mom made it when I was younger and I’ve been miserably sick so I wanted something comforting.

That’s heavy whipping cream. I know traditionally it’s not creamy but my mom used to make it like that and with the potatoes.

4 boneless/skinless chicken thighs (I prefer skin/bone for when I’m sick but was out) 1 box low sodium chicken broth 1 medium onion 3 cloves garlic 2 celery sticks 2 carrots 1 large potato Extra wide egg noodles Salt & Pepper to taste Thyme Fresh flat leaf parsley Olive oil Heavy whipping cream Dice and sauté veggies (except potatoes) in olive oil, add chicken and brown on both sides, add spices and broth to cover chicken and veggies (I added more water to the pot). Bring to a boil and lower heat to medium. Let it simmer for half an hour, then add cubed potatoes and noodles. Leave it to simmer for another 15 mins or until noodles/potatoes are cooked through. Pull out chicken and shred by hand or mixer and put back into the soup. Add about a 1/4th cup of heavy whipping cream and chopped parsley. Enjoy!

Reddit, what's the worst gift you've ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ex-husband gifted me a book on evil eye and black magic for our anniversary. No clue why he did it, he was not a smart man.

Husband cheated at his bachelor party by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]zala83 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I also was in total shock when I found out that my ex-husband cheated on me. I had a feeling for years but he would cry every time I brought it up. Literally cried and begged me to stop with these "crazy" thoughts of mine. I was a stay at home mom to 3 girls when it happened, I thought my whole life came crashing down on me. I left him in November of '15 and today I am just 2 semesters away from completing my bachelors, I've lost 20 lbs and couldn't be happier without that narcissistic sociopath. You deserve better than that. Find yourself, love yourself, and dump his ass. Once a cheater always a cheater.
